Hi, I'm Benjamin Parry

I'm originally from London 🇬🇧, went to university in Philadelphia 🇺🇸, lived for 6 months in 佛山 🇨🇳, and am now based in Toronto 🇨🇦.

I am currently building The Toronto Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. An experiment in education for a new Toronto. Our first product is The Viaduct, a lecture series highlighting people and ideas that could transform our city.

Previously I worked at Tim Hortons in a variety of roles across product, strategy and operations building 0 to 1 projects including their loyalty program, data science practice, and Tims Financial.

I'm influenced by Christopher Alexander, James J. Gibson, Michael Polanyi, Charles Taylor, Matthew Crawford, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Michael Pollon, Thich Nhat Hanh, and C.S. Lewis if you're likewise interested in any of their work I'd love to talk.
